Research Experiences
Dr Kailash has an avid interest in research. He had published his research work in many international high impact factor journals. He had also written chapters of books. He is actively involved in research on molecular hepatology, vascular liver disorders, portal hypertension and hepatocellular carcinoma to name a few.
1. INASL fellowship in “Molecular and Basic Sciences” at prestigious Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi under Mentorship of Dr. S.K. Sarin.(2020)
2. Worked on animal models in vascular liver diseases at at prestigious Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi.
3. Working on various National and Multinational trials at Department of
Gastroenterology, Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and General Hospital, Sion
4. Worked as Junior Scientist at Indian Institute Of Science, Bangalore/ ICMR, New Delhi. (2008-2011)
5. Had done pilot research project on Emotional quotient and academic excellence. (KVPY fellowship award, 2 nd MBBS, Selected amongst 15 students from all over India.)
6. ICMR project on low birth weight babies in urban slum. (3 rd MBBS).
7. ICMR project on tuberculosis prevalence study from a community in undergraduate tenure. (3 rd MBBS).
8. Had done many research projects for Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc) and Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi. (ICMR) (MBBS)
